My name is Alice Aichele. I am the creator and owner of the Educational Design Hive. This space was created in 2015 when I was in a place of frustration and honestly a little lost in the role I found myself in at the time.

I wanted a place that I could share ideas and strategies to create practical, engaging classrooms and I just didn't have an outlet for that at the time, so I created one. Honestly, it is a space that I come and leave often always working to really define the vision for the space and for myself as a practicing educator.

A hive is a place that is alive with activity and action and one day I hope that this becomes just that, but if not, it is a good place for me to buzz around with those who drop by.

I love designing for my students this is my attempt at sharing some of the many different ideas and strategies that I lean on in my practice. Feel free to take, use, adjust and make them your own.
